OVERVIEW

With the implementation of OASIS-D set for January 1, 2019, post acute providers need to begin preparing and executing plans to put the proposed changes in place. To help prepare you, this third webinar in our three-part series discusses new section J: Health Conditions.

During this session, we’ll finish the discussion on new section GG Functional Abilities and Goals by looking at GG0170 Mobility and then explore the fall items in section J. The discussion will include a crosswalk of the current ADL items with the new mobility items. Guidance and response-specific instructions will also be provided. You will learn the OASIS-D definition of a fall, determine which instances constitute falls, and how to score severity. The webinar will explore strategies for accurate data collection and relate new HH Quality Reporting Program measures to OASIS-D.
