The Year of Change: Expansions, Solutions & Innovations for 2023

OVERVIEW

The home health industry has much change and innovation on the horizon. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) initiatives such as proposed payment model (PDGM) updates, the nationwide roll out of Value-Based Purchasing (VBP) and implementation of OASIS-E serve as catalyst in 2023.

VBP will usher in the connection between quality and payment.  In addition, proposed payment model updates propose a significant reduction in Medicare home health payments. Approaches to quality, data measurement, and strategy need to be elevated to a new level of performance.  Our thought leaders will discuss some “out of the box” ways to promote quality beyond the basics to elevate performance and optimize financial outcomes.
