OVERVIEW
With the implementation of OASIS-D set for January 1, 2019, post acute providers need to begin preparing and executing plans to put the proposed changes in place. These changes will affect 33 items, thereby reducing the number of data elements collected by 235. There are also new items included that will support the IMPACT Act. It will be critical for home health agencies to complete the OASIS accurately, or they may risk financial penalty, miss potential reimbursement, or risk a denial by CMS.
The proposed changes are extensive, so planning and educating your staff is critical to ensure compliance and a successful transition to OASIS-D. This webinar will provide an overview of the changes and how they are going to impact your organization. We’ll provide insights into overcoming implementation challenges, as well as recommendations to ensure your agency is successful during this transition.
