Dawn Cheek RN, BSN, Clinical Consulting Senior Manager, Ms. Cheek has more than 30 years of experience in health care operations, including 12 years in management roles. She has a broad base of clinical compliance and documentation improvement for providers nationwide. She has expertise in utilization review processes and implementation of Medicare regulations for medical necessity and RAC preparation. For home health, she provides extensive knowledge of clinical operations, and home care and hospice documentation regulations. For hospice, she provides extensive compliance and medical record review experience with past eligibility review team member and with IRO engagements. Her nursing background, coupled with her leadership experience of front-line staff, allows her to effectively monitor patient care and agency compliance.
