The webinar recording is now available as health care consulting leadership shares their insights on the impact of the changes to CoP

Wayne, Pa. (May 31, 2018) – McBee, the nation’s premier independent health care services and consulting firm, partnered with ElevatingHOME to present a webinar entitled, “Conditions of Participation: QAPI, Patient’s Rights, Care Planning & Beyond.” Clinical Consulting Managers Lisa Bryan, RN, BSN, COS-C and Carissa McKenna RN, BSN COS-C, HCS-D, and Quality Manager Karen Tibbs, RN, HCS-D, COS-C presented live on May 18. The recording is now available for download for those not able to attend.

With the update to the CoPs that went into effect earlier this year, it is important that providers are aware of what is new and revised to ensure compliance with the guidelines. The goal of these updates is to develop an inter-disciplinary approach so that patients receive the most effective quality of care.

During this webinar, the team presented these changes, as well as the impact these changes have on agencies, and tools to ensure agencies are compliant with the guidelines. Attendees learned key elements of a QAPI program, gained insights into OASIS accuracy, and how to build an appropriate plan of care.
