Wayne, Pa. (July 25, 2018) McBee to present on how home care agencies can optimize revenue cycle spending and tips to addressing Zone Program Integrity Contractors (ZPICs) through ADRs and denials management at the Home Care Association of Florida’s (HCAF) 2018 Annual Conference and Trade Show on July 31.
Dawn Cheek RN, BSN, Clinical Consulting Senior Manager, will present “Are You Paying Attention to ADRs and Denials? Tips for Addressing Dastardly ZPIC Issues,” addressing the need for home health agencies to be prepared for audits at any given time with the rise of Targeted Probe and Educate (TPE). As agencies continue to focus on the new Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) and process improvement, this is an ideal time to be proactive on reviewing and educating staff on effective clinical documentation. This session stresses what is important to compliance—to ensure that records are clean if any future “look back” was to occur.
Michelle Stone-Smith, MBA, Senior Consulting Manager, will present, “It’s Clobbering Time: Optimizing Your Revenue Cycle Spend,” focusing on balancing reimbursement and administrative needs and realigning a revenue cycle department through software optimization, add-on software, process flow redesign, and/or outsourcing. Attendees will learn the importance of understanding current capabilities, budget, measurements, and accountability. This session identifies key strategies to optimizing revenue cycle budget.
