This November, I’m honored to join the National Alliance for Care at Home in recognizing the extraordinary individuals who make care at home possible. Working side by side with home care organizations, I see the dedication, compassion and resilience that define this field. National Care at Home Month is more than a celebration, it’s a movement. This year’s theme, “One Voice for Care at Home,” reminds us that when we speak together, advocate together and act together, we elevate the entire field of home-based care.

At McBee, we see firsthand the impact of home care professionals who bring compassion and clinical excellence into the homes of patients every day through our clients. While words can only begin to capture the dedication and heart behind home care, Felecia Hudson, Director of Performance Improvement and Education with Brooks Rehabilitation, says it best: “It takes a very special person, a very special skill set, and I am just so thankful every single day that we get the opportunity to do this, and that to me is the biggest blessing of all”.

One Voice for Care at Home

National Care at Home Month is a powerful reminder that when we unite, our voices amplify change. Through collaboration and commitment, we can protect access, influence policy and champion the future of care at home. At McBee, we believe in the strength of speaking together as One Voice for Care at Home.

“National Care at Home Month reminds us just how powerful our collective voice can be. At McBee, we stand with providers nationwide – advocating, educating and elevating the work that makes care at home possible. Together, we are truly One Voice for Care at Home!” – Bob Braun, Senior Vice President, McBee

Building Resilience for the Future of Care at Home

Our goal is simple: empower home care organizations to thrive, even in the face of uncertainty. At McBee, we work with home care organizations to strengthen their foundations, enhance performance and prepare for what’s next. And as we work to build resilience, we also raise our collective voice, advocating for policies, resources and recognition that protect the future of home-based care. Together, we stand united as One Voice for Care at Home, ensuring that care at home remains accessible, sustainable and impactful for all.

Recognizing the Heart Behind Care at Home

Behind every successful care plan is a team of dedicated professionals whose compassion and commitment make healing possible. Nurses, therapists, aides, volunteers and administrative staff bring comfort, dignity and hope into the homes of patients every day. Their work transforms lives, often under challenging circumstances, and deserves our deepest gratitude.

This month, we encourage our partners, clients and communities to join us in recognizing these unsung heroes. Whether it’s a simple thank-you, a social media shoutout or a community event, every gesture matters. Together, we can raise awareness and inspire others to support and strengthen care at home.
