IRF Coding Essentials – December 2024

The IRF Coding Essentials workshop provides a foundational overview that will help you accurately assign impairment group codes (IGCs) and ICD-10 codes on the IRF-PAI and the IRF UB-04. This live virtual training workshop is designed to introduce inpatient coders, PPS coordinators, CDIs and physicians to the basics of the IRF Prospective Payment System (IRF PPS), case-mix groups (CMGs) and the 60% rule. The course also explains how to identify comorbid conditions, assign tiers and capture complications. Participants will receive practical coding tips, insights into financial implications, and valuable CMS and UDSMR, part of McBee, resources.

Day 2: Wednesday, December 11, 2024 | 12:00 – 2:30 p.m. ET

Attendance at both parts is required to complete the IRF Coding Essentials workshop.
