This live virtual training workshop is designed to introduce inpatient coders, PPS coordinators, CDIs and physicians to the basics of the IRF Prospective Payment System (IRF PPS), case-mix groups (CMGs), and the 60% rule. The course also explains how to identify comorbid conditions, assign tiers and capture complications. Participants will receive practical coding tips, insights into financial implications, and valuable CMS and UDSMR/McBee resources.
